  • Interval training is a type of physical training that involves bursts of high intensity work. This high intensity work is alternated with periods of rest or low activity, the eponymous intervals.

  • An intense type of workout excellent for building strength, where you go hard for a set distance, pedal easily to recover, and then repeat the hard/easy efforts a number of times.

  • Training in which a runner alternates between running and jogging over set distances

Farooq and I go a long back ... he was junior to me in our school "St. Joseph High School, Umerkhadi.
Years later when i joined and started learning Taekwondo from Grandmaster Javed Khan .. I met him again but here he was senior to me.
With his dedication, unending spirit and passion towards this martial arts he rose to become 3rd Dan Black Belt and i remained happy with the white uniform and white belt. HAHAHA.
Was too scared of Javed Sir's rigorous 1 hour exercises and kicks ....

Farooq is Secretary General of International Progressive Taekwondo Federation, Indian Taekwon and Asst Examiner up to black belt.

Farooq has a 16 years of experience in Taekwondo, 15 years of training experience, 10 years as Instructor of Taekwondo, KickBoxing, MuayThai and Ground Fighting (Grappling).

He is also a member of Grand Master Javed Khan's Demo Team.

He has won medals at district, state and national levels in all belt category.

Currently from past 4 year's he trains staff of MTV and lots of elite from creative fields for fitness, toning and stress management.

He is always upgrading and in touch with the latest training methods, fair training and scientific knowledge about workouts, especially in body weight exercises, cross fit, high intensity interval training and mix martial arts.
